Members of the FFA (Future Farmers of America) from Homer, MI visited the Williamston Corporate office on November 7 to tour the facilities. They were educated on how the operation works and the great efforts it takes in the parts, sales and service departments to run an efficient business. John Deere recently posted a video on new features they are looking to launch in the future and the students were shown where technology in agriculture is headed. Lora Finch, the Agriscience Instructor and FFA Advisor thought the visit was beneficial for the students in saying, "I cannot thank you (D&G) enough for the wonderful tour of you facility, the video, visiting with the kids and the hats! The students were very interested in the whole operation and impressed with how professional it was ran. It was a true learning experience that opened their eyes to another part of the ag industry."

Military Appreciation was the theme Friday, October 4, 2013 at D&G Equipment Sales in Corunna. Veterans and current members of any brand of the US forces were offered special discounts and pricing on products sold at D&G Equipment in Corunna. Bob Florinki, a D&G customer and resident of rural Durand, provided a display of his 1941 World War II Willys Jeep restored to original condition, including accessories and armaments of the period. In addition, Florinki brought in his M Gator A-1, with a Browning M-2 .50-caliber, top-mounted machine gun. Florinki noted that today's special forces sometimes drop the M Gator A-1 into remote areas of service such as Afghanistan. The Gator is nearly the same size as the Willys.
